American singer and songwriter Jennifer Lopez has shared her thoughts on her divorce from her ex-husband, Ben Affleck.
The couple had a tumultuous relationship, marrying in 2022 and parting ways in April, with Lopez filing for divorce on the two-year anniversary of their marriage.
In a recent interview with Interview Magazine, Lopez reflected on the challenging experience, stating that it “almost took her out for good.”
However, she emphasized that she has no regrets about her marriage to Affleck, viewing it as a significant part of her life journey.
She conveyed her appreciation for the experience, stating:
“Not one second. That doesn’t mean it didn’t almost take me out for good. It almost did.
“But now, on the other side of it, I think to myself, ‘Fuck, that is exactly what I needed. Thank you, god. I’m sorry it took me so long. I’m sorry that you had to do this to me so many times.
“I should have learned it two or three times ago. I get it. You had to hit me really hard over the head with a fucking sledgehammer. You dropped the house on me. Don’t have to do it again.“
In other news, Renowned musician Jaywon has faced criticism for taking and sharing photographs of his visit to the gravesite of the late music icon, Sound Sultan.
The artist, known for his hit song “This Year,” recently posted on his social media account to announce that he had visited the gravesite to pay tribute to the musician who died in 2021.
In his posts, Jaywon included several images from the gravesite, expressing his admiration for the legendary singer and acknowledging him as his mentor.
