Big Brother Naija Season 9 finalist Nelly has revealed that she intentionally ignored fellow contestant Shaun, despite his eagerness to engage in conversation with her following her eviction on Sunday.
Their relationship had soured during their time in the house, particularly after Shaun and his girlfriend accused Nelly of having “fake” buttocks. Shaun claimed that the discussion about his girlfriend’s appearance was initiated by Nelly’s boyfriend, Sooj.
Despite his attempts to reconcile, Nelly remained distant. In a recent interview with Naija FM, she stated that Shaun made efforts to mend their relationship on Sunday, but she chose not to respond to his overtures.
“After the eviction, Shaun was chasing me around like a fowl; that we should speak.
“I told him there’s no need for this conversation; it’s your opinion of me, and it’s valid,” she said.
Shaun had previously mentioned on the show that he chose to pursue Wanni instead of Nelly because she did not take the initiative to make the first move.
Wanni also claimed after the show that Nelly had been flirting with Shaun even while they were in a relationship.
