In a recent interview on City FM, Fireboy addressed the ongoing conflicts among Nigerian artists, emphasizing that disagreements are a natural part of the music industry. He stated, “Everyone should just focus on what concerns them. Let artists be artists, fans be fans, and the media keep telling the stories.”
Reflecting on the recent feud between Wizkid and Davido, Fireboy remarked, “Beef is just part of life. We are all human,” highlighting his preference to avoid getting involved in drama.
He also discussed his latest album, **‘Adedamola,’** featuring collaborations with Lagbaja, Jon Baptiste, Seun Kuti, and Spinall. Fireboy credited Olamide, the YBNL leader and executive producer of the album, for inspiring the collaborations with Lagbaja and Seun Kuti.
Conflicts among artists are not uncommon in the Nigerian music scene, with notable disagreements occurring over the years. For instance, Ruger and BNXN had a falling out but later reconciled to release an EP titled **‘RnB.’** Meanwhile, the public feud between Davido and Burna Boy seems to persist, mirroring the recent tensions between Wizkid and Davido.
