Stan Alieke, the lawyer representing Nigerian singer and content creator Speed Darlington, also known as Akpi, has addressed the concerns surrounding his client’s recent disappearance.
Akpi had been trending on social media after going missing, raising alarm among fans and Nigerians. In an update, Alieke confirmed that Speed Darlington was arrested by the police over the weekend and is currently being held in Abuja.
“The official records show that he was arrested in Lagos and shipped to Abuja over the weekend,” the lawyer explained.
